Well, it was five years ago in this month that I first painted my Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time OC's five forms (I had only just learned how to paint...I was so damn green), and since I am currently in a Zelda mood, I decided to draw and pant them again. An update of skills was needed. The difference between now and then is almost laughable -- that is, I'd be laughing if I wasn't shuddering....

Anyway, this is Valerie in her centaur form in Ocarina Of Time. Since I made the first one, I have done many changes to the story of the "fanfic" it is from, so the details you find on the first picture's page isn't entirely accurate. I've dropped the game-mechanic-like thing of her needing to go through a dungeon to get a new form, and the forms most certainly don't exist solely for the temples. I mean, can you imagine traversing the Forest Temple in a body like this? Pfft. So they're simply forms that she can maintain with her shape-shifter powers.

...And then, what good would a form like this be in an epic adventure? Well, I imagine that it'd be faster to run in this form than as a human. ...Yet it makes me think that my decision to give her a horse is redundant....


The drawn base of this was traced over an earlier one made over two years ago that I felt was unsatisfactory. So I changed a few things about the pose -- now, she's intent on shooting something with her bow, and one of her hooves is raised higher. It's the only time where tracing is shameless; improving on your own work. Of course, most of the time, you just have to start from scratch.

...Jeeze, this turned out darker than anticipated.... That's what I get for trying to be interesting.


So everything here is original...unless you want to count the ear shape. XD Or, most definitely, the little sprites floating through the air. But anyway, as usual, you do not have permission to post, copy, or otherwise reproduce this image or any design found therein.
